The 113-room Hampton Inn Roanoke-Salem is a short drive from the Blue Ridge Parkway and provides quality accommodation at an economical price for both families on vacation and the business traveler. Items included with the room rate at this six-story hotel are a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, in-room coffee and parking. The hotel has extensive landscaped grounds and garden terracing and is adjacent to the Lewis-Gale Medical Center. Area landmarks and attractions include several golf courses, the Mill Mountain Zoo, the James Moyer Sports Complex, downtown Roanoke and Salem and shopping at the Tanglewood Mall or Valley View Mall.

When you are in the Blue Ridge area many guests believe this is the best place to stay. The rates are reasonable and there are friendly faces to greet you when you check-in. In addition to enjoying the mountains several clients said there are good golf courses nearby, the full spectrum of shops and museums and some fine place places to eat. Some clients at this Hampton Inn said there was a need for some updating and better housekeeping.
